2009 Midtown Summer Party
MAREA Summer Get Together this Friday starting at 6PM.
At: Pat & Patty’s corner of Lathrop & Jackson St.
Tickets are $10 and include fabulous food from City Barbecue, appetizers and desserts by our members, beer, wine, fun & games (prizes too) your peers in comfortable dress, the lap pool, the Paul Love Jazz Combo, Awards and more!

Changes to MAREA Tour
Effective July 17, new rules for the weekly listing tour will be in effect, for the remainder of 2009. If these changes are approved by the Members, they will then become permanent.
* 1 week South: German Village/Merion Village (Area 17)
* 1 week Central: DT/Olde Towne East (Areas 10 & 14)
* 1 week North: (Victorian Village/Harrison West/OSU (Area 11)
* Still maximum of 12 listings per week
* Maximum 3/Agent or Team per week, unless the Tour is not full, then a maximum of 4/Agent or Team, first come, first served.
* Deadline is midnight Wednesday. Thursday is fill-in day.

Project: Worked on various projects at the Ronald McDonald House on East Livingston Ave.
This crew wallpapered five rooms of the Ronald McDonald House for a total of $1,100 in improvements! Click HERE for photos.

Finance Committee
The newly formed Finance Committee, Members: Brad Beatley, Sandy Woolard & Buzz Thomas recommended several expenditures that the Assoc. approved on 01/26/07. The newly formed Donation Committee will be chaired by President Regina Acosta-Tobin, and include Buzz Thomas & Steve Wagner. All requests for Charitable Donations will go through this committee for presentation to the Assoc.
